About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual Customer Service Representative (English/French) to join our operations team as a Truck Dispatcher. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively under pressure, and can coordinate transportation activities while delivering exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting dispatch operations, communicating with drivers and customers, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day coordination of transportation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch trucks efficiently to support daily operations
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams in both English and French
- Monitor shipment and delivery schedules, providing timely updates and resolving issues proactively
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, records, and operational documentation
- Track delays, route changes, and service issues while ensuring timely communication
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure service excellence
- Support scheduling and operational coordination in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and transportation policies
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)
- Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, logistics, transportation, or operations coordination preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatch/CRM systems is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Requirements
- Must be available to work Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Must be available to work in a hybrid model with 3 days in office
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
