Are you a skilled, intermediate tax professional with experience in a public accounting firm? Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Tax Analyst to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with strategic tax planning
- Preparation and review of corporate, personal and trust returns, and capital dividend elections
- Execute tax research on complex tax matters and deliver accurate recommendations
- Provide strong client support
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- CRA correspondence
- Other tasks as required
Qualifications:
- CPA designation a must
- A strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws is required
- 2+ years tax compliance experience
- Understanding of accounting standards for private enterprises
- Completion of In-Depth Tax Program (asset)
- Public accounting firm experience is preferred
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of Caseware and TaxPrep (assets)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
