At Lila, we believe dining should feel like stepping into another world.
We’re looking for a full time server (4-5 shifts/week) who will be trained up as bartender and shift lead closer in the fall. They will bring warmth, grace, and genuine hospitality to the table. At Lila, service is mindful and guest-centred. Our goal is to make guests feel at ease - curious enough to ask questions, comfortable enough to linger, and cared for in every moment.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests with warmth and a sense of presence, creating a dining experience that feels personal and memorable
- Guide guests through a menu of vibrant small plates, explaining ingredients and pairings with knowledge and enthusiasm
- Curate beverage experiences, from natural wines to playful cocktails, that enhance the story of each dish
- Work in harmony with our tight-knit team, balancing attentiveness with a relaxed, confident style of service
- Anticipate needs, solve problems gracefully, and ensure each guest leaves feeling lighter than when they arrived
What We’re Looking For
- Previous serving experience in a hospitality-focused environment (fine dining or elevated casual an asset)
- A genuine love of food, wine, and culture - curiosity and eagerness to learn are essential
- Ability to provide confident wine service
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Ability to thrive in a lively, fast-paced setting while maintaining calm and composure
- Availability for evenings and weekends
- Ability to bartend
- Ability to grow into a shift lead role
