Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Patrol Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through active surveillance and prompt response to incidents. This role is essential in safeguarding assets, staff, and visitors while upholding the company's safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior using CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism activities
- Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance among staff and visitors
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns
- Monitor CCTV footage continuously to identify potential threats or irregularities
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail in identifying security risks
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Physical ability to perform patrol duties which may include walking or standing for extended periods
- Must be reliable, alert, and committed to maintaining a secure environment at all times
Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
