Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction management, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves coordinating teams, managing schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. The Project Manager will play a critical role in maintaining safety standards and fostering effective communication among stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Develop detailed project timelines using Primavera P6 and other construction management software
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution
- Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid to prepare accurate cost projections
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow
- Monitor project progress through Bluebeam and ProCore platforms, updating stakeholders regularly
- Manage procurement processes and track material deliveries using Civil 3D and other tools
- Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare reports on project status, risks, and issues for senior management
- Implement effective time management strategies to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in exterior construction management or related field with a strong understanding of project lifecycle
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and cost control techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred but not required
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands and resolve issues proactively
