Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Clinical Counsellor to join our team. This role involves providing specialized mental health support, counseling, and case management to diverse patient populations, including children and adolescents. Duties
- Conduct individual, family, or group counseling sessions tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Manage case files and document patient progress accurately and confidentially
- Assist with patient care coordination, including referrals and follow-up appointments
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all patients
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or in hospital settings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards
Pay: $120.00-$130.00 per hour
