Inspector Level I & II

Inspector - LEVEL I
Reporting to the NDT Inspection Manager, the Level I Inspector is responsible for assisting the Level II Inspectors with various inspection related duties.
Specific Accountabilities (not all-inclusive)
- Prepare all Phoenix drilling tools inspection.
- Find specs and procedures in shop specifications.
- Inspect all Phoenix drilling tools and complete appropriate inspection paperwork under a Level II’s supervision.
- Perform visual inspections on all Phoenix drilling tools.
- Assist with daily verification checks.
- Assist with training of Shop Technicians and Inspection Trainees.
- Maintain training records (logging inspection hours).
- Handle and respond to after hours and weekend requests and inquiries.
- Anti-Gall condition new and re-cut connections.
- ID window milling and serializing of tools.
- Load and unload new and used tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of inspection areas and equipment.
- Participate in Phoenix provided Inspection Training Program as required.
- Be available for after hours, weekend and holiday work schedules when necessary.
- Work schedule varies and may require shift changes.
- Assist other departments with various projects when time permits.
- Perform all duties to meet the responsibilities listed in the Employee and Corporate HSE Handbooks.
- Perform duties according to the Company’s quality system procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications
- Successfully passed ASNT MP & PT Level I classroom training
- Experience in minor thread repair and bore scoping
- Inspection experience an asset
- Forklift experience an asset
- Crane experience an asset
- As a safety sensitive position, this role requires functional English skills (reading, writing, listening, and comprehension) for:
-Proper understanding of one’s job, safety-related training, alerts, policies, procedures, and instructions
-Reading and understanding all corporate-related compliance documents, procedures and policies
-Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors
-Effective and safe performance of one’s job-related tasks
Inspector - LEVEL II
Reporting to the NDT Inspection Manager, the Level II Inspector is responsible for inspecting all Phoenix Drilling Tools.
Specific Accountabilities (not all-inclusive) LEVEL II
- Prepare all drilling tools for inspection.
- Prepare and organize paperwork and reports for inspections, for all Phoenix drilling tools.
- Take accurate dimensional measurements as per Shop specifications & RP7G-2 & DS-1.
- Perform visual inspections on all non-magnetic and steel tools.
- Perform daily verification checks.
- Assist with training of Shop Technicians and Inspectors.
- Handle and respond to afterhours/weekend requests and inquiries.
- Inspect anti-gall condition of new and re-cut connections.
- ID window milling and serializing of tools.
- Operate and train on BSL Re-facer.
- Load and unload new and used tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of inspection areas and equipment.
- Participate in Phoenix provided Inspection Training Programs as required.
- Be available for after hours, weekend and holiday work schedules when necessary.
- Work schedule varies and may require shift changes.
- Assist other departments with various projects when time permits.

Qualifications
- Valid Level II NDT Certifications (MPI II & LPI II)
- Experience in minor thread repair and bore scoping
