About the Position
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on technician to join our growing service team.
This position involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and commissioning industrial machine tools at customer facilities and in our shop.
No two days are the same.
If you enjoy solving mechanical problems, working with industrial equipment, and continuously learning new skills, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on industrial machinery
- Repair manual and CNC machine tools
- Install and commission new and used equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings (an asset)
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Travel to customer sites throughout Alberta (occasionally Western Canada)
- Communicate professionally with customers
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following:
- Industrial mechanics
- Millwright
- Heavy equipment mechanics
- Machine tool repair
- CNC maintenance
- Industrial electrical work
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
Experience with machine tools is a strong asset, but not required.
If you have strong mechanical aptitude and are eager to learn, we are willing to provide training.
