Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and public spaces. This role is essential in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to health standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment when necessary
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for candidates eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting (up to 40 pounds), and walking for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a high standard of hygiene in all tasks
