Due to the opening of our new facility, we are looking to expand our growing team. This position is based at our Moosomin, SK warehouse, which serves as a distribution point for our crop input sales program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse in accordance with AWSA standards. This includes ensuring that all chemicals are stored neatly and in compliance with those standards (AWSA guidelines training will be provided). The candidate will also operate light power equipment such as a forklift and telehandler to load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks. General yard work will be required to keep the facility orderly.
Please note that hours can be irregular and vacation is limited during our peak delivery season in March, April, and May.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on experience with selling and/or distributing agriculture chemical sales.
Additional Relevant Training
- WHMIS
- TDG
- Forklift training
- First Aid/CPR training
- Familiarity with driving apps such as Go Motive
If the applicant does not hold these certifications, they can be provided.
Qualifications
- Farm/agriculture background would be ideal
Requirements
- Knowledge of crop protection products
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate light equipment (skid steer/forklift/telehandler)
- Valid driver's license required
- Class 1A or G endorsement (optional)
