Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Administrator to join our team. (Toronto Area) In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing customer orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy in data entry and maintaining organized records. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, proficiency in office systems, and a commitment to providing excellent support to our operations.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all information is entered correctly into the database.
- Maintain organized files and records related to customer orders and transactions.
- Collect and compile data for reporting purposes as needed.
- Coordinate all areas of the warehouse including picking and packing, shipping and receiving and inventory control to ensure smooth daily operations and achievement of KPI’s
- Answering incoming phone calls and customer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, changes, or issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other office software to manage data effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with database management systems and office software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
