Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Prior experience in food service or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring quick service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions with basic math skills to give correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and dining area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and food handling as needed, including serving light snacks or baked goods.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
