Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Gas Station Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and bookkeeping with accuracy
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with vendors for purchasing supplies and managing store stock levels
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety training sessions for staff
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for upper management
- Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team
- Manage payroll processing, budgeting activities, and administrative tasks related to store operations
- Utilize effective communication skills to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or related supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills
- Experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing, and sales management
