Overview
Irwin's is seeking skilled and safety-conscious Rope Access Technicians for a 3 week project in Kamloops in September. This role involves performing various tasks at height using rope access techniques. The ability to work in challenging environments while adhering to strict safety protocols is essential.
Duties
- Execute rope access operations for maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks in various settings.
- Utilize rigging techniques to safely position equipment and personnel at height.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective work plans and ensure project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or incidents promptly.
Qualifications
- Level 1 or 2 Rope Access Technician Certification required (IRATA/SPRAT)
- Experience in rope access techniques is an asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, and power tools.
- Familiarity with rigging practices and safety protocols related to working at height.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
