About Us
English360 is an online language school based in Toronto, Canada. We're hiring a specifically RUSSIAN speaking instructor at the moment as we have a lot of elementray level Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking students based in Canada and the US.
We mostly work with adults, all our students are self driven and motivated. Our focus includes IELTS and CELPIP preparation, so experience with these exams is a strong asset. We work mostly with adults, experience with children will be an asset. And it's mostly 1:1 format.
Role Summary
The position is remote and primarily requires availability on weekdays and occasional weekend mornings/day hours, Eastern Standard Time (EST). Evening availability (after 7 PM EST) is essential due to high demand.
Required Qualification: Proven experience in independently designing lessons and developing learning programs for students of different levels, ages, and learning objectives.
Instructors must be able to create and adapt lessons on our interactive platform in accordance with the school’s methodology and quality standards, using their own expertise, teaching resources, methodological knowledge, and AI-powered tools. We do not provide ready-made lesson plans.
We are looking for a professional who can design effective learning programs tailored to virtually any student goal and deliver a truly personalized learning experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable leveraging modern educational technologies and AI tools to create engaging, goal-oriented, and interactive lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging online lessons on our learning platform
- Create personalized lesson plans tailored to students' goals, timelines, and levels
- Teach general ESL as well as prepare students for exams like IELTS and CELPIP
- Be able to work 1:1 or with a group from 2 to 6 students
- Track student progress and adjust learning strategies accordingly
- Simplify complex concepts for beginner-level learners
- Use AI tools and online resources to create current, customized learning materials
- Follow company methodology and contribute to maintaining high teaching standards
- Participate in team communication and continuous professional development
Qualifications and Requirements
- RELIABILITY (last minute cancellations of the lessons are not tolerated)
- Fluency in Russian (Ukrainian is a plus)
- Fluent in English with clear, articulate pronunciation
- Strong knowledge of English grammar
- Proficiency with AI and online tools (e.g., Google Docs, PowerPoint Online etc).
- Ability to teach using a communicative approach
- Experienced in teaching ESL and exam prep (IELTS/CELPIP preferred)
- Ability to create personalised study programs based on student level, needs and interests
- Skilled at working with both beginners and intermediate learners
- Organized and able to manage teaching responsibilities in a team and independently
- Reliable computer, good camera, high-speed internet, and quality headset/microphone

Additional Information
- Probation period: 3 months (may be shortened based on performance and student feedback)
- Teaching load will increase gradually during the first month
- Instructors must deliver well-prepared lessons and uphold our standards
