Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves responding to roadside assistance requests, safely towing vehicles, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience with commercial driving, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on vehicle recovery and roadside support. Class 5 with air brakes endorsement needed. Willing to train.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to recover and transport vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns, or parking violations
- Assist customers with vehicle recovery, ensuring a positive customer experience through professional communication and service
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles or equipment when necessary
- Utilize forklift or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading vehicles or parts
- Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including time, location, and vehicle details
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations to ensure personal and public safety
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or towing services is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance is highly advantageous
- Customer service skills are essential for interacting professionally with clients during stressful situations
- Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required, with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes will be beneficial for troubleshooting minor issues on-site
This role requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, excellent customer service, and efficient vehicle recovery operations. On call, evening and weekends may be required, wages can be discussed based on level of experience

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
