Job Summary
FamilyBridge Supervision Services is seeking reliable, professional, child-focused independent contractors to assist with supervised parenting time, supervised exchanges, and related family service appointments. Supervised Parenting Time Workers are assigned on a case-by-case basis and may work in community venues, private meeting rooms, public locations, or other approved settings. This role involves facilitating safe and positive interactions between parents and children during supervised visits, ensuring a supportive environment that promotes healthy relationships. The position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in families' lives.
Assignments are available throughout Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Durham Region, Hamilton, Niagara Region, Peterborough, Barrie, and surrounding communities. Contractors are assigned based on their location, availability, and operational requirements.
Duties
- Supervise parenting time sessions in accordance with court orders and agency guidelines
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children and parents during visits
- Observe and document interactions, noting any concerns or notable behaviors
- Maintain a neutral, supportive, and professional demeanor throughout all sessions
- Communicate effectively with families, and other involved parties as needed
- Follow all confidentiality and privacy protocols to protect client information
- Prepare reports or documentation related to each visit as required
Skills
- Prior experience working with children, especially in supervised or therapeutic settings is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain neutral and professional in sensitive situations
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with families, and other professionals
- Ability to maintain composure, patience, and empathy during interactions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as an independent contractor

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
