We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst focusing on global asset management and investment book of record (IBOR) expertise. The position requires a Senior Business Systems Analyst with deep knowledge of global asset management, particularly IBOR, portfolio management, and various asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX, and money market instruments. The role bridges technology and business operations to drive innovative asset management strategies. The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications. This is a critical role as Global Asset Management (GAM) is on a multiyear transformational journey, currently six months into a business data migration project involving the transition from a legacy book of records to a new investment book of record system.
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.

Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers.

Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.

Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.

Supports one or more highly complex business processes.

Works on multiple projects as a project team member.

Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Provide managerial oversight to business analysis activities for a team in order to advance initiatives and ensure project success.

Provide management and planning for the Supplier team.

Ensure that Supplier Personnel deliver analysis of complex business/function information and provide recommendations/proposals.

Ensure the quality of the output of Supplier team.

Gather and document complex business requirements, design client-focused solutions, and lead project implementation as a subject matter expert while mentoring technology and project teams.

Work with Business to create test cases and, depending on resources, may require executing on test cases or working with QA to execute/automate the test cases.

Talk to business teams to gather requirements and analyze what those requirements will look like.
- Business analytic skills including understanding complex business processes/challenges, requirements gathering, designing tactical and strategic solutions, understanding SDLC, and having worked with agile development teams to deliver solutions to production environments.

Global Asset Management / Wealth / Capital Market experience; understanding of trade life cycle and how different systems connect to each other.

Demonstrated experience with at least one asset class (e.g., derivatives, equities, fixed income, FX, money market instruments).

Knowledge of how Book of Record systems work (e.g., Finbourne, SS&C, Aladdin, or similar IBOR systems).

Strong understanding of trading workflows and how the trading workflow operates end-to-end.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required.

Extensive experience with investment product lifecycles, trading instruments, portfolio strategies, and risk calculations.

Experience working with agile development teams.
