Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Banquet Servers to join our hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services during events, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food handling and serving in a fast-paced environment. Previous hotel or restaurant experience is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, delivering high-quality service at various events and functions.
Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner during banquets and special events
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, and tableware
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
- Replenish supplies and clear tables promptly to maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Interact professionally with guests, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with breakdown and cleanup after events, restoring the venue to its original condition
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to serve multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, or during special events as needed
- Prior hotel or event experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes comfortably
