Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Agricultural Technician to support our operations in maintaining and repairing farm machinery and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment, and a background in automotive repair or similar fields. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational tasks to ensure the efficiency and safety of agricultural and industrial assets.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on farm machinery, heavy equipment, and industrial systems, we speicalize in john deere equipment
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, tractors, and farm equipment
- Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding, and schematics interpretation
- Assist with assembly, installation, and calibration of machinery components and GPS equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and schematics
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs using an App
- Support customer service efforts by providing technical assistance and guidance on equipment operation
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance and operational activities
- Heavy lifting of equipment parts or materials as needed for repairs or installations
- Willing to work long hour during busy seasons
Requirements
- Proven experience with dealership service or farm machinery maintenance is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience operating excavators, tractors, or other heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, electrical systems, welding, and schematics interpretation
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, industrial equipment, power tools, hand tools, and assembly processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environmental conditions
- Able to preform detailed inspections for preventitive maintance on various equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on diagnostics using schematics or technical manuals
- Prior mechanic or electrical experience is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills for assisting clients or team members effectively
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00-$58.00 per hour
