Sancton Access Inc. has an immediate opening for a Yard & Logistics Supervisor to work at our branch in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Under the direction of the Yard Operations Manager, the Yard & Logistics Supervisor will provide support to the operations teams to ensue all work performed on site is of the highest quality without sacrificing safety, productivity, or schedule.

As a natural communicator, mentor, and educator, you draw upon your knowledge of safety best practice and regional legislation to ensure the operations team is working safely at all times. You have a proven track record of being able to effectively troubleshoot, finding the solution that is most appropriate for the situation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process equipment orders, returns, and inspections, ensuring equipment is safe and complete.
- Manage yard logistics and operations, including receiving, warehousing, deliveries, and coordination.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Oversee quality assurance and condition assessments, identifying defects, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with inspection standards.
- Ensure equipment readiness and branding.
- Lead and support employees in a high-traffic environment while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, including PPE compliance, vehicle inspections, incident reporting, and safety meetings.
- Support operational administration including purchase orders, billing cycles, logistics coordination, and documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, tracking operational metrics and recommending process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.
Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics, yard operations, equipment handling, construction, or industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Strong organizational, inventory management, operational coordination, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of equipment inspections, health & safety practices, and quality control processes.
- Ability to balance hands-on yard work with administrative and coordination responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with external and internal teams.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and solve problems quickly while balancing business priorities.
- Proficiency with computers and smartphones for operational tracking, communication, and documentation.
- A valid driver’s license is required.

- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience using Digital ERP Platforms would be considered an asset.

Hours of Work:
- 7:30AM – 4:30PM
- MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
