Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at Marché Leo’s Market. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This role is crucial for supporting the kitchen staff and providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Dishwashing:
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using both manual and machine methods.
- Ensure all items are properly cleaned and stored in their designated areas.
Kitchen Support:
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Regularly check and maintain dishwashing machines to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.
Health and Safety:
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and chemicals are used safely and stored properly.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attributes:

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
