Job Overview:
Valley well drillers is a family owned and operated well drilling company located in Waterville Nova Scotia.
We are seeking a Water Well Drilling Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks related to water well drilling operations, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support the drilling team in drilling and installing pumps in water wells.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, excavators and other heavy equipment as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in drilling operations
- Perform commercial driving tasks related to the transportation of equipment and materials
Requirements:
- Experience in water well drilling or plumbing is preferred
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and rigs
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and assist with equipment maintenance
- Commercial driving (class 3 license) experience is a plus
