Dryden Ski Club - General Manager (2026-27 Winter)
Term of position and hours of work align with operation of the Ski Club
Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Dryden Ski Club Board of Directors, responsible for all operational matters associated with the Ski Club.
This includes:
-supervision and scheduling of part-time staff
- responsibility for collecting payroll information and forwarding it to the financial director
- maintaining inventory and ordering food items for kitchen sales
- Menu planning and staff/ volunteer scheduling in kitchen|
- Organizing grooming of hill
- Collaborating with volunteers to run events and programs (ski and snowboard lesson series, PD day events, clinics, family day and new years parties, music nights)
- Works with and communicates effectively with volunteers (Board of Directors, groomers, maintenance technicians).
-Ensures adherence to health & safety standards. Completes reports as required.
Qualifications
- Supervisory or other leadership experience, and ability to work independently with confidence, requesting assistance when required.
- Knowledge of and experience in ski hill operations would be an asset.
- Ability to develop strong and effective working relationships with customers, staff and volunteers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated administration skills. Computer use for email, ordering, and use of our sales platform will be required.
- Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills. See jobs that need doing.

- Current First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain same) is an asset and reliable transportation is required.
