Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Bar Porter to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment behind the bar and in the service areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing excellent guest experiences. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders and staff by maintaining cleanliness of bar areas, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces
- Restock supplies such as beverages, garnishes, and barware to ensure smooth service flow
- Ensure guest areas are clean, organized, and welcoming to promote positive guest experiences
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold high standards of hospitality and guest service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is beneficial
- Hospitality background including barista experience or guest services can be valuable assets
