Medical Office Adminstrator
Full Time position .
We are looking to hire a professional . experienced Medical office Administrator ( MOA )
We are a group of family Physicians in a busy clinic seeing booked Patients and Walk in patients with high volume of incoming phone calls and faxes .
The ideal candidate will have strong EMR skills, good time management skills , strong communication skills, is a positive and proactive person who can handle working under pressure with confidence.
Roles and responsibilities include ( not limited to ) :
- Scheduling and confirming appointments for the physicians Candidate will require great attention to detail and demonstrate a high level of accuracy. Bookings include EMR appointments & online booking.
- Registering new patients and updating existing patient demographics as well as validating health cards. Attention to detail is imperative and required. Consistency is key.
- Managing patient tasks as assigned by physicians which includes making calls to patients, pharmacies and other clinics (the reception team receive over 100 patient tasks per day)
- Processing high volume of e -faxes and scanning documents on daily basis .
- Processing of lab specimens , requisitions for labs .
- processing of 3rd party payments
- processing referrals and requisitions esp diagnostic imaging tests requisitions .
- Clinic mail retrieval and distribution .
- APPLICANTS PLEASE NOTE REQUIREMENTS: You must have a minimum of 3 years of medical office administration experience working in a large scale healthcare facility with EMR experience (Telus PS Suites)
- MOA Certificate required

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
