Restaurant management is responsible for overseeing the assigned locations' revenue, profitability, service and quality goals while ensuring effective restaurant operations.
PLEASE NOTE: Applicants without previous restaurant experience and AT LEAST 2 years of recent experience working in a full service restaurant in a management role, including accountability for both budget and staff, will NOT be considered and need not apply. Previous retail management experience an asset.
Responsibilities
- Manages management/supervisory team and daily operations of assigned restaurant(s) with 6-15 employees per shift
- Accountable for KPIs for assigned locations(s) including sales and all controllable expenses including CoGs, CoL, waste/variance, etc.
- Provides high level of customer service including handling customer service issues at location level
- Maintains restaurant building and equipment in a condition that ensures customer service and company image goals are met
- Assists in the hiring, orientation, training, and coaching of all employees based on the company’s standards to meet the restaurant’s operational needs
- Conducts performance appraisals in line with the company’s standards to provide feedback to employees to improve performance and productivity
- Reviews operational reports and records to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Monitors the accuracy of receiving, transfers, debits/damages, and charge-backs to headquarters to maintain the accuracy of the inventory
- Analyzes cost controls and sales trends by monitoring month end reports and statements
- Responsible for inventory control and vendor orders at store level
- Develops and executes restaurant-level marketing initiatives
- Ensures all employees adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with good operating practices including safe handling of food and proper product rotation
- Identifies opportunities to maximize revenues and guest satisfaction
- Performing other additional duties as assigned
