Premium Restoration is an established and growing full-service property restoration company that services the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley.
We are seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Construction Restoration Technician.
Responsibilities:
This position will perform construction repairs tasks such as:
- Installation of drywall in residential, commercial and other structures.
- Rough and finish carpentry / millwork.
- Texture and paint.
- Installation of insulation to stud wall cavities.
- Read blueprints.
- Work orders and specifications to determine method of installation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry, drywall, texture and paint experience.
- Attention to safety and the ability to work safely is a requirement of this job.
- Being dependable and reliable.
- Demonstrate high level of energy, initiative and leadership.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to assist and learn different departmental tasks related to the restoration process.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
- Ability to solve basic arithmetic problems quickly and accurately.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Some evening and weekend work will be required. (On-call schedule).
- Ability to operate standard construction hand tools and perform heavy lifting as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Wage $24.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience.
