Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Window Cleaning Crew Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional cleaning services for commercial and residential clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in facilities maintenance and custodial work. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing a team of cleaning technicians, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout all projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the window cleaning crew to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Train new team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet client deadlines
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, including custodial supplies and facility maintenance tools
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or special requests
- Ensure proper heavy lifting techniques are followed during equipment setup or material handling
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and conducting safety meetings regularly
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance with leadership responsibilities preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment used in window washing and facility upkeep
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment setup or material transport
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Good communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and management
- Prior experience in managing a cleaning crew or similar team environment is highly desirable
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
