What You’ll Do
As Front Desk Manager / Assistant Manager, your priority is front desk excellence and daily operations:
- Lead, coach, and schedule the front desk team to deliver outstanding guest service aligned with Vantage’s values: Love it, Own it, Share it, Solve it, Laugh.
- Handle all front desk functions including check-ins/outs, reservations, billing, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Cover front desk shifts as needed (days, evenings, nights, weekends) to support 24/7 operations and maintain service standards during peak times or staffing gaps.
- Manage day-to-day operational tasks: room assignments, upselling, handling guest concerns, and coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
- Monitor and improve front desk processes, guest feedback, and revenue opportunities (e.g., upselling rooms and services).
- Support training, performance management, and development of front desk staff.
- Assist with night audit processes, reports, and administrative duties as required.
- Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled, ensuring smooth hotel operations.
What You Bring
- Previous hotel front desk experience (supervisory or leadership experience preferred).
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to remain calm, positive, and solution-focused under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you build great relationships with guests and team members.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (experience with Opera or similar is a plus).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid work authorization in Canada.
- A valid driver’s license is an asset.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
