Reporting Structure: Directly Reports to Resort Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the resort.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and regular inspections of facilities and identify any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Complete work orders promptly and efficiently to address maintenance requests or concerns from guests or staff.
Grounds Maintenance:
- Maintain the appearance and functionality of all resort grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, RV and campsite cleaning, and snow removal as needed.
- Keep walkways, pathways, and parking areas clear and safe for guests and employees.
- Maintain irrigation systems and maintenance of plants and greenery.
Equipment Repair and Maintenance:
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations as necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
- Uphold high standards in aesthetics and functionality through regular inspections.
Pools
- Obtain and maintain Certified Pool & Spa Operator Certification.
- Keep pool mechanical areas clean and organized
Guest Assistance:
- Deliver exceptional guest service, promptly addressing requests and concerns.
- Collaborate with front desk, management, and housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Available after hours to respond to emergency maintenance needs.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Monitor usage and expenses to optimize budget allocation and resource utilization.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Keen eye for detail to ensure resort grounds are safe, functional and visually appealing, through meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven skills in Time Management.
- Ensures daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal work is being planned for and followed through on.
- Efficiently uses and follows checklist and calendars.
- Proven knowledge and skills of safety, maintenance procedures and repair techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot grounds, equipment and systems effectively.
- Experience operating skid steer and chainsaw.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate maintenance needs, including on-call or after hours emergencies.
- Commitment to maintaining a high-quality, safe resort environment.
- Obtain and Maintain WHMIS training.
- Obtain and Maintain Pool & Spa Operator Certification.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
