Farrell’s Excavating Ltd. has an opportunity available for a Class 1 Driver based out of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Evenings and weekends are required. Travel within Newfoundland is required for projects.
Farrell’s Excavating has been providing service in the heavy civil industry of Newfoundland since its incorporation over 30 years ago. We play a major role in the completion of many large government and municipal projects that involve the building and paving of many of the province's main highways and rural roads.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspection Requirements
- ELD Recording Requirements
- Live Bottom Operation
- Belly Dump Operation
- Flat Deck/Float Operation
- Tanker Operation (for liquid asphalt)
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other management regarding delivery schedules and any issues during transport.
- Complete and submit paperwork relating to deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
- Clean Driving Abstract.
- Power Line Hazards Course.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
