Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa & Wellness Manager to lead our spa and wellness center. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for health and wellness. The Spa & Wellness Manager will play a key role in creating a relaxing environment that promotes client satisfaction and business growth.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the spa and wellness center, including scheduling and shift management
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff members, ensuring proper employee orientation and training
- Supervise staff performance, conduct evaluations, and foster team development through ongoing training & development programs
- Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, stock control, and merchandising of spa products and retail items
- Handle customer service inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services and retail sales
- Monitor sales management metrics such as retail sales, sales management goals, and pricing strategies
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards within the facility
- Coordinate with vendors for purchasing supplies and managing inventory levels
Skills
- Proven management experience in a spa, wellness center, or retail environment with supervising experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution
- Skilled in marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple responsibilities such as staffing schedules, inventory control, and financial records
- Experience in training & development programs to enhance team performance
- Strong administrative skills including phone etiquette, record keeping, and organizational planning
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and sales management techniques to support business growth
