Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and post-treatment recommendations.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other health professionals as needed to support comprehensive patient care.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic operations.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health is preferred.
- Proven experience providing massage therapy services with positive client feedback.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and addressing client concerns.
- Prior experience working in a clinical or wellness setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided as needed.
