JOB POSTING: 309A ELECTRICAL JOURNEYMAN / LEAD HAND
Ignite Electric is hiring an experienced 309A Electrical Journeyman to become a core member of our team.
If you are an APPRENTICE: kindly do not apply for this job. We will be hiring apprentices in the future. This is for CERTIFIED JOURNEYMAN who HAVE passed their licensing exams, and completed their apprentice hours with proof from both SKILLED TRADES ONTARIO and the ESA
We are looking for an intelligent, responsible electrician who can confidently lead and inspire under the guidance of an established, passionate Master Electrician. This is a real opportunity to coach and be responsible for a small crew. We are looking for Journeymen who take pride in their work, show strong leadership and initiative skills, while responsibly teaching and guiding others.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Pay starts at $37.00 per hour and is negotiable based on experience.
- Full-time hours at 40+ hours per week, with overtime pay available.

TOOLS AND SAFETY:

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in commercial and commercial/industrial maintenance projects.
- Strong skills in conduit bending and three-phase wiring.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a 309A Electrical Journeyman (or a minimum 3rd-year Electrical Apprentice with strong leadership skills).
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Able to be bonded.
