We are currently seeking a Temporary Part-Time Building Cleaner that can turn into Full Time to work at one of our apartment buildings in Edmonton. Help at surrounding buildings may be required. Transportation would be provided.
Cleaning Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of carpeted or tiled common areas.
- General maintenance of residential property.
- Knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS).
- Turnover preparation, thorough cleaning of apartment suite to ensure move in ready.
- Pick up loose garbage around exterior of property and report any serious deficiencies about curb appeal or hazards to residents to the Resident Manager.
- Use hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance.
- Snow removal and landscaping help required. Lawn care such as cutting grass or weeding.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Cleaning and landscaping experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills to deal with residents.
- Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times.
- Must be able to lift and push heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances or perform snow removal duties, sometimes for extended periods of time.
- Prior experience in custodial or apartment cleaning preferred
