We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Professional Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and custodial work, possess excellent time management skills, and demonstrate strong communication abilities. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to complete cleaning tasks efficiently
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management
- Operate heavy lifting equipment when necessary to move furniture or equipment safely
- Follow established safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
- Maintain cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
