Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks including shipping and receiving, order picking, and heavy lifting. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately
- Picking orders
- Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory
- Daily operation of forklifts and pallet jacks upon certification
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Additional tasks within the scope of the position may be required.
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work with warehouse software programs
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Must be able to work independently and be self-directed
Education & Experience
- High School diploma
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience
