This is a front desk, B2B customer facing role in a 15+ year industrial distribution business based in the Gloucester Industrial park.
Relatively small office of good people who are supportive of each other.
Looking for someone with an outgoing and energetic personality to keep things energized.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in various software tools, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Admin will serve as the first point of contact for clients and staff, managing front desk responsibilities and maintaining accurate records.
Duties
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Greet visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk
- Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Office, Ragic, and More
- Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for staff members
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and patients, ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
- Support administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and mailing documents
- Handle general clerical duties including filing, faxing, and managing correspondence
Requirements
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles; experience in medical or dental offices is advantageous
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills for front desk interactions
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with multi-line phone systems and filing systems is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Marketing and graphic design is a plus

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
