Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Indigenous Housing Support Program Coordinator.
This part-time position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of housing services by coordinating program operations, supporting staff, and ensuring effective use of resources.
Position Details:
· Hours: 15 hours per week
· Schedule: Flexible within Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
· Location: Smithers, BC
· Reports to: Executive Director
· Wage: $28-32 Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of the Indigenous Housing Support Program
· Plan and purchase program supplies and resources
· Support and guide frontline staff in their roles
· Manage and monitor the program budget
· Complete monthly reporting on program activities and outcomes
· Build and maintain relationships with community partners
Qualifications:
· Experience in program coordination, administration, or a related field
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Experience with budgeting and reporting
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Knowledge of local Indigenous communities and services is an asset
