What You'll Do
As a Mountain Operations/Lift Mechanic, you'll play a key role in keeping our lifts operating safely and reliably while supporting the overall operation of the mountain.
Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:
Lift Operations & Maintenance
- Performing daily inspections and maintenance on lift systems
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Assisting with lift start-up, shutdown, and operational monitoring
- Supporting major maintenance projects, inspections, and upgrades
- Maintaining maintenance records and inspection documentation
Mountain Operations
- Supporting snowmaking, grooming, and general operations as required
- Assisting with summer maintenance projects and infrastructure improvements
- Operating tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively
- Contributing to a team-first culture focused on safety and member experience
What We're Looking For
We'd Love to Talk If You Have:
- A Ski Lift Mechanic Class A License (SLM-A), equivalent certification, or are working toward one
- Passenger ropeway experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, heavy equipment, industrial maintenance, millwright work, or related trades

- Have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy figuring out how things work
- Take initiative and can work independently
- Enjoy solving problems and finding practical solutions
- Are comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments year-round
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Can build positive working relationships with team members across departments
- Are comfortable providing direction, coaching, and day-to-day support to lift operators and seasonal staff
- Have leadership potential and are interested in growing your supervisory and operational leadership skills
- Want to learn a specialized trade and build a long-term career in the ski industry
- Take pride in doing things safely, professionally, and the right way

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, shifts, and overtime during the winter season
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and professionalism
