Overview:
G-Force is seeking a professional, vigilant, and customer-focused Event Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at concerts, festivals, sporting events, corporate functions, private events, and other special gatherings. This role requires a proactive approach to crowd management, access control, conflict resolution, and emergency response. The Event Security Guard will monitor event activities, conduct patrols, assist guests, enforce venue policies, and respond quickly to incidents to ensure the safety of attendees, staff, performers, and event organizers.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
- Verify tickets, passes, and event credentials.
- Patrol event venues to ensure safety and security.
- Manage crowds and maintain orderly movement.
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents.
- Enforce venue rules and event policies.
- Report suspicious activity to supervisors.
- Conduct bag checks and security screenings when required.
- Assist guests with directions and general inquiries.
- Complete incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Work with event staff, emergency services, and law enforcement when needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (Required)
- Previous event security or security experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent observation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Must pass a background check in accordance with company policies
