We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients while performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks within our dental office.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant medical history in Power Practice software.
- Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care for patients, including those requiring orthodontics or pediatric services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Experience
- A valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly with Power Practice software.
- Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
