The Academy for Mathematics & English tutors students from SK to grade 12 for Math, Grades K to Grade 9 in English, and grades 11 & 12 in Physics and Chemistry. We are currently recruiting Enthusiastic & Knowledgeable candidates to be our tutors for our Oakville Glen Abbey location or our Burlington location.
*Candidates who do not live close to the Oakville Location(1500 Upper Middle Rd. W, Oakville) will not be considered.**

Job Description:
FOR JUNIOR STUDENTS: Tutors must be able to tutor Math and English from grades SK to Grade 8.
FOR SENIOR STUDENTS: Must be able to tutor the following subject areas: Geometry/Algebra/Trig/Calculus & Vectors and or Chemistry and Physics.
- Sessions are held in the afternoon, evenings and/or weekends
- Tutors work with the same students on a daily/weekly basis
- Tutors are not required to prepare lesson plans and the teaching curriculum is provided
- This is a permanent part-time position
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a degree in the related fields or currently studying in them
- Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- a minimum of 1 year tutoring experience
- Candidates must be available Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm. to 8:30pm. and Saturday from 10:00am. to 4:00pm. (Minimum of 3 days per week)
