Complete Shipping Solutions is seeking a motivated and experienced Quoting Specialist to join our growing team. This role is integral to our operations, supporting customers with accurate and timely shipping quotes for domestic and cross-border freight solutions.
We are looking for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with both LTL and FTL transportation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely freight quotations for domestic and cross-border shipments.
- Source competitive carrier rates and identify the best transportation solutions for customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and transportation partners.
- Communicate professionally with customers and carriers via phone and email.
- Follow up on quotes and assist in converting opportunities into booked shipments.
- Support customers with LTL, FTL, and other freight solutions.
- Resolve transportation and pricing challenges by providing practical shipping solutions.
- Maintain accurate quote records and pricing information within company systems.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and carrier partners to ensure successful shipment execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage industry.
- Experience preparing freight quotations and obtaining carrier rates.
- Strong knowledge of LTL and FTL transportation.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- French language proficiency (written and verbal) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with cross-border shipping is an asset.
- Spanish language proficiency is an asset.
