KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manages credit and risk process for semi-standard to more complex small to large sized inventory lines for dealerships in the equipment industry.
· Responsible to analyse and underwrite new and existing smaller ticket lease/loan transactions.
· Work with team members to manage the financial vendors & programs in Canada and United States
· Process the daily retail deals from the Vendors & SCUS from time to time
· The position requires a candidate to have very strong credit and analytical skills, who can multi-task and work in a high-paced team environment.
· Reviewing and analysing credit requests to determine financial and non-financial strengths, risk levels, and feasibility of proposed credit relationships and transactions.
· Analysing and communicating financial condition and performance (historic, current and projected) of proposed and existing customers.
· Establishing and determining appropriate controls and formulas as may be required based on complexity and risk of a credit proposal
· Evaluating trends in customer data to promptly identify and report areas of concern and/or potential problem loan, determining courses of action to mitigate identified risks and/or concerns
· Determine proper credit structure and controls necessary to monitor the structure (i.e. regulatory, inventory, account receivable terms, pricing, etc.) and presenting conclusions to Senior Management team
· Manage the commercial loan portfolio, which includes renewal of maturing loans and lines of credit
· Provide communication (oral and written) with customers concerning loan documentation
· Assist with collection efforts on delinquent or problem accounts
· Lead initiatives which add value, supports SANY vision, core values, business principles, goals and objectives
· Adhere to all policies procedures, processes, company practices, guidelines, expectations, laws and regulations
· Staying abreast of new developments in the field of commercial lending and changing government regulations

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field
· Minimum 7 years of experience underwriting within the equipment leasing space. Previous captive finance experience is preferred
· Working knowledge of commercial loan underwriting with sound understanding of credit worthiness
· Proficient using advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, graphs, spreadsheets, pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.); experience with Microsoft Office
· Ability to calculate figures, amounts, ratios, formulas, compute interest, discounts, fees, etc.
· Working experience with nCino and Infolease/Solifi, a plus
· Effective written communication which includes the ability to query reports, create reports and letters
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret commercial, consumer and equipment loan documents along with reports
· Strong communication, presentation skills and teamwork skills with the ability to build trust and credibility globally which includes winning approval from various stakeholders.
· Demonstrate a high degree of creativity and mature judgement in anticipating and solving non-reoccurring, unprecedented problems. Have a Root Cause/Countermeasure approach to problem solving (analytical vs. intuitive)
· Time management skills with the ability to plan, create, maintain and resolve open issues, analyze workflow, demonstrate sense of urgency and set priorities to meet deadlines
· Process driven, detailed oriented, results driven and self-motivated
· Self-starter who is responsive, organized, self-motived with the ability to produces accurate results, meet all established goals, objectives and expectations, and comply with all policies, procedures, regulations, guidelines and laws with minimal supervision
· Ability to effectively handle and maintain confidential matters and information
EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s degree in related field.
· CLFP a plus
Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
