Job Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract
Shift Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off | 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM (Includes a designated sleep shift from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Residential Advisor to foster a thriving, supportive living environment rooted in our foundational moral framework. In this role, you will be a vital mentor, role model, and pillar of support, ensuring the safety, well-being, and personal development of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Student Development: Act as a positive role model, building strong relationships grounded in trust and empathy. Guide students through social, personal, or academic challenges while encouraging independence and self-advocacy.
- Cultivate a Joyful Community: Organize and facilitate social events, cultural celebrations, and community-building initiatives that foster a deep sense of belonging and unity.
- Enhance Residential Life & Operations: Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Oversee the upkeep of common areas, enforce residence policies, and address parent or resident concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate for Impact: Coordinate closely with faculty, administration, and fellow residential staff to share best practices and build a holistic, enriching student experience.
- Nutritional Support: Assist with meal planning, creating grocery shopping lists, and the preparation of balanced, nutritious weekend brunches for 40+ students alongside other team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A background or degree in Social Work, Youth Work, or a closely related field is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience working with youth in a residential or group home setting.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect meaningfully with youth from diverse global backgrounds. Excellent time management and basic culinary/food preparation skills.
- Driver's License: Valid Ontario G Class Driver's License (Required).
- Background Check: Broad Vulnerable Sector Check for employment (Required).
