Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, concrete finishing, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects including siding, framing, concrete work, and heavy equipment operation. The <PERSON> will contribute to high-quality construction and restoration projects, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency throughout all phases of work.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related restoration work with attention to detail
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting, excavation, or material transport as needed
- Utilize woodworking skills for custom carpentry projects and detailed finish work
- Conduct welding tasks when required to join metal components or reinforce structures
- Execute heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment on-site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to project timelines
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques
- Skilled in siding installation, carpentry, woodworking, and general construction practices
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Competence with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, etc., as well as power tools like drills and saws
- Knowledge of welding processes for metal fabrication or structural reinforcement
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in technical tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
