Job Description:
As a Barista/Customer Service Representative at PLV, you will be the face of our bakery, providing excellent service to our customers. Your main responsibilities will include preparing and serving beverages, assisting with bakery sales, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, following established recipes and techniques.
- Assist customers with bakery selections, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
- Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate sales records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar and customer seating areas.
- Assist with stocking and inventory management of coffee supplies and bakery products.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Work as part of a team to ensure efficient and smooth operations during busy periods.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- A passion for coffee and baked goods, with a desire to learn more about our products.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as needed.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
