THE ROLE
The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes. This role ensures food is prepared efficiently, safely and consistently while maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The Cook works as part of the kitchen team to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Daily a la carte menu food preparation and cooking prior to and during operating hours ensuring there is enough mis en place prepared for service.
Ensure that instructions from a BEO are followed for larger group parties and the menu is prepared on time.
Notifying the Chef of any menu items that are low in stock.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRMENTS
Experience in luxury hospitality, high-end retail or and equivalent setting (2+ years preferred)
Experience in a fast paced, fluid environment, with success adapting to last-minute changes.
Passion to consistently be learning about wine and the wine making process.
Strong knowledge of the local area.
Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable working inside and outside depending on seasonal reservations.
Schedule flexibility that includes possible evenings, weekends and holidays.
